I authorize Northside AFT to draft from my bank or credit card account for the amount and membership dates listed on this application.

Dues are based on a 12-month period beginning September 1st - August 31st. The dues amount may change if required by local, state or national constitutions. Deductions will continue for the current school year and future years, including any increases in dues. I accept all responsibility for any fees incurred due to invalid payment information, insufficient funds or failure to notify Northside AFT of any changes to my employment status with NISD. Open enrollment throughout the year. NAFT does not represent Administrators. This authorization will remain in effect until terminated in writing by me. MEMBERSHIP PROTECTION DOES NOT INCLUDE COVERAGE FOR SITUATIONS THAT OCCURRED PRIOR TO JOINING NORTHSIDE AFT.

This authorization is voluntarily made based on my specific understanding that: The making of contributions to Northside AFT Committee on Political Education are not conditions of membership in the union and that I may refuse to do so without fear or reprisal.

No member dues dollars are used to support candidates for elected office. However, it is important that we elect pro-public education candidates who will stand up for us. Your voluntary contribution to NAFT COPE helps make this happen. Contributions or gifts to NAFT COPE are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Contributions cannot be reimbursed or otherwise paid by any other person or entity.
