CCAFT Membership Form

The member is responsible for ensuring that CCAFT is deducting the correct amount. I hereby authorize CCAFT to deduct from my bank account dues for CCAFT as indicated until I notify CCAFT in writing to discontinue such deductions. My signature also authorizes CCAFT to change my dues if my position changes or if dues change or at the request of CCAFT.

The CCAFT Committee on Political Education (COPE) collects voluntary contributions from members and uses them to support political candidates. Making a contribution is not a condition of membership. This authorization is signed freely and voluntarily and not out of any fear of reprisal, and I will not be favored or disadvantaged because I exercise this right. CCAFT COPE may engage in joint fundraising efforts with the TEXAS AFT, AFT and AFL-CIO. A voluntary COPE authorization may be revoked at any time by notifying CCAFT in writing of the desire to do so. Texas law prohibits CCAFT from contributing general dues dollars to political campaigns. Contributions or gifts made to CCAFT COPE are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Contributions cannot be reimbursed or paid by any other person or entity.
